TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran’s petrochemical exports have grown 21 percent since mid-March, 2015, compared to the figure for the same period in preceding year.
In this period, Iran exported 14.3 million tons of petrochemicals. Last year, this figure stood at 11.8 million tons.
During November 22-December 21, 2015, domestic petrochemical complexes’ output amounted to 3.81 million tons. The figure has reached 34.78 million tons since March 21, 2015.
During mid-November-mid-December, 2015, Iran exported 1.3 million tons of petrochemicals worth $594.8 million.
Top five producers of petrochemicals in this period were Marun Petrochemical Company (365,000 tons), Zagros Petrochemical Companies No. 1 and 2 (271,000 tons), Mehr Petrochemical Complex (30,000 tons), Iran Petrotech (28,000 tons) and Laleh Petrochemical Company (28,000 tons).
